The Kobor Hoot is much more advanced, anatomically speaking, than its smaller colleague. The chief difference lies in the Kobor Hoot's internal circulation of body fluid made possible by a series of jointed, semi-rigid "bones" running down the middle of its three body segments. The Kobor Hoot also has a larger, integrated brain attached to the foremost rod and communicating with the rest of the body by nerve trunks. One of the chief coordinating tasks of the brain is to adjust the pressure in each cavity so that exterior bones are forced open at the appropriate times to allow passage of fluids into or out of the "fins."
